Food was great and service was good it was just took a long time to a very long time to get the food for what was ordered

I absolutely love eating here. The food is glorious and everyone is so friendly including the waitresses. If you visit frequently the workers remember you and what you like to order. Its just a great country place to eat.

Awful if you have a chance go to Dumplings in Scottsville. Dumplings gets 5 Stars.I ordered the special hamburger steak which came dry I asked for a small bowl of gravy 3 teaspoons was an extra 75 cents. Canned Loma beans and instant mashed potatoes. Awful place to eat pick somewhere else.

Excellent home cooking! However, service was a little slow and the receipt was not available until I was standing at the checkout counter.

Prices very reasonable. Food was Perfect and very delicious!! Sausage was fresh not frozen think eggs were fresh to. Had great color and flavor. Like mine from home. Plenty of parking Will make this a regular stop when working in this area

Actually 3.7 stars. Good food and the service was fair. Looks like they are still in the process of decorating, not sure how long it has been open and this was my first time here. I had the mushroom appetizer and the mushroom and Swiss burger and curly fries. It looked like it was freshly patted from ground beef and was thick and overhung the bun (regular size) all the way around. The fries looked and tasted like they were homemade and a very nice helping. I was comfortably full when i left. The server left the dirty dishes on the table even though she came and checked regularly if we needed anything.

We had the daily special and strawberry pie!! Everything was delish! Our waitress was also very good..very clean place. We will always stop when in the area!! Check them out!

Good food at a decent price. The amount of food was plenty and well cooked. Not too loud, a place where you can eat and enjoy a good conversation.

Catfish was delish. I got tots and I ordered baked potato. I ordered hush puppies and didn't get those at all. But I loved the fish.

My wife and I stopped by there and had a bite to eat before the eclipse. It was clean & quiet, plus the food was great and the price was affordable. Would definitely have some of that home cooking again!

The food is good,,,but when you go in and there is only 2 tables with people at them and it still takes 35 minutes after you order to get your food,,with some setting outside doing nothing,,and mind you we ordered very easy meal.The waitress did apologize for the delay but as I told her it is not her fault ,So while customers are waiting for extended lengths of time ,,which if they are not busy,,should not happen!I have worked in this type of business and it is uncalled for .They need a stricter boss apparently.So to end this rant,,I doubt we will be attending your restaurant any time soon.

The place was clean when we went and not overcrowded. We took a friend after surgery and he enjoyed everything he got. We try to eat healthy for the most part, but this is not the place to go if you eat healthy. If you like fried food and burgers, however, you would probably enjoy this place very much.

I eat here about twice a month. Decent food with great prices. Breakfast is their best meal, most of their food seems like it is generic frozen or pre-packaged. Their service is friendly but slow so don't expect to be in and out. Steer clear of the steak and eggs, omelets are the way to go.
